Cuba has a warm, tropical climate with moderate temperatures in winter, spring, summer, and fall. Seasonal temperature fluctuations are relatively mild. The summer tends to be hotter and more humid than the other seasons.

The dry season runs from December through the middle of April, and this is also considered the high season for tourists. The rainy season runs from June through November. This is also when hurricane and tropical storm activity take place. Cuba tends to have fewer hurricanes and tropical storms than its Caribbean neighbors.
